For the first 2 months of 2010, shipments of Dimension lumber was almost double that of 2009. While this is still 8% below 2008's shipments during the same period, it does indicate a positive move in the marketplace for Dimension lumber. Eastern White Pine shipments showed a modest increase over the same 2-month period of 2009, a 26% increase year-to-year. These numbers still lag behind 2008's shipments for the same months by 8.5%.
